🚨 Water Service Alert 🚨

We want to inform our customers that a water main was accidentally hit during a pole replacement earlier today. This has caused a temporary loss of water service for approximately 30 customers in the affected area near N Co Rd 700 W in Fairbanks.

Our crew is actively working to make repairs as quickly as possible and restore service.

Boil Advisory-
Once service is restored, a boil water advisory will be in effect for only the affected customers. We recommend boiling all water used for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, and food preparation for at least one minute. This advisory will remain in place until water quality testing is complete.

We understand the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience while we work to resolve the issue.

📞 If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our office.

Thank you for your understanding.

You may notice a stronger chlorine taste or odor in your water over the next few weeks. This is due to our water supplier (Indiana American Water) temporarily adjusting their treatment process for annual system flushing.

This is a routine procedure to maintain water quality and safety. Once the flushing process is complete, normal treatment methods will resume and the taste and odor will return to normal.

You may notice lower water pressure while our operators are flushing in your area. This is only temporary while flushing hydrants around your area of the system.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact our office. Thank you for your understanding!
