County Community Corrections

On behalf of Agents Dickinson and Fogarty, and all of Terre Haute PD10: We would like to send our condolences to the staff of Clinton County Community Corrections and Brett's family. We are deeply saddened by this loss. Brett was a great person who always took the time to make sure we were included. He will be greatly missed.

We are heartbroken to announce the unexpected passing of our Director Brett Barton. Brett touched many lives both professionally and personally and he will be missed dearly. Please keep his family as well as our staff in your thoughts and prayers as we attempt to navigate this devastating loss.

A shout out to Parole Agent II, Twyla Edinburgh, who was presented with a Commissioner’s Coin and cash spot bonus for her supervision of a parolee. Due to the relationships and trust that she builds with her parolees she had one call her in the middle of the night during a stand-off with law enforcement. After being on the phone with him for over an hour she was able to help facilitate a peaceful end to the situation. On behalf of the Parole Division, Great work Twyla, this is what excellence looks like!!
