With your help, that could change. Recently, a U.S. Senate committee unanimously passed the Recognizing the Role of the Direct Support Professionals Act. Now, the bill heads to the Senate for a vote this fall.

Doctors didn’t give Brady’s parents much hope for his future when he was born with Down syndrome in 1971. Thankfully, they didn’t listen. Brady is a shining example of this year’s Disability Pride Month Theme, “The World Works Best With Us.” In this blog, his sister shares what inspired her to write a book about Brady and how Mosaic helped him through a major life transition.
