The Southern Indiana Vintage Camper Rally is back for another year! The annual rally began in 2009 and attracts vintage camping enthusiasts from throughout the United States.

A public open house will be held at Fowler Park on Saturday, June 13, from 10 AM until Noon, during which the vintage campers will be open for viewing. Come on out and explore campers dating back to the 1930s-70s. This year's theme is “Classic Family Summer Car Trips.” You won't want to miss this unique event!

Thank you to everyone who came out to our Summer Launch Party today! We started the evening with a Silly Safaris Show hosted by Ladybug Liv, followed by yard games and kayaking on the lake. It was a great way to kick off summer! If you came out, share your photos in the comments below!

Check out this awesome video our Griffin Bike Park Summer Camp kids created last year featuring the Little Kids Trail!

Our Summer Bike Camp kicks off Monday, and there’s still time to get your child signed up. Join us for a full week of riding clinics, guided trail rides, hikes, and plenty of fun games and activities at the bike park.

Please pack outdoor‑ready clothing, bug spray, sunscreen, and a sack lunch. We will provide drinks, snacks, and some downtime after lunch each day.

Ages: 8-14
Drop‑off: 7:30 AM - 8:00 AM at Griffin Bike Park Headquarters
Pick‑up: 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM
Cost: $40 per day or $150 for the full week
Registration deadline: June 5

Kick off summer with the Vigo County Parks Department tomorrow, June 5!

We will begin with a Silly Safaris Live Animal Show at 5:00 PM in the Burkeybyle Shelter. After the show, head over to the Dogwood Shelter area for free kayaking, yard games, a bounce house, and popsicles to celebrate the start of summer.

Event Schedule:
5:00-6:00 PM — Silly Safaris Live Animal Show at the Burkeybyle Shelter
6:00-8:00 PM — Free kayaking, yard games, bounce house, and popsicles near the Dogwood Shelter

Please Note:
Kayaks are limited and will be available on a first‑come, first‑served basis. We will rotate participants in 30‑minute time slots to ensure everyone gets a chance to paddle. You are also welcome to bring your own kayak if you have one!
