Registration is now open for the 2026 Summer Institute for Educational Interpreters!

This two-day training supports K–12 educational interpreters in strengthening professional role clarity, preparation and collaboration strategies, and student-centered decision-making. The sessions emphasize self-awareness, reflective interpreting practices, and sustainable approaches to supporting meaningful access over time.

Day 1 focuses on clarifying the interpreter’s role and understanding how preparation directly supports meaningful access for students. Day 2 builds on that foundation by focusing on student experience in the classroom, strengthening real-time decision-making, and improving collaboration with school teams. The training includes short presentations, guided reflection, group discussion, and practical application activities. Participants will leave this training with ideas and tools they can use right away.

Come learn from Tia Ivanko, M.S., NIC, ADAC on July 21st and 22nd at The Wellington in Fishers.

We hope you can join us this afternoon!

The PASS Project is excited to host a Learning Lab Series this school year! Our second session is on March 4th from 3:30-4:30 eastern time.

Tai Botkin will be presenting "Unpacking AEM, AT, and UDL for Deaf Educators."

How do the 3 big hitters of Accessible Educational Materials, Assistive Technology, and Universal Design for Learning translate to Deaf Education? In this presentation, we will discuss applications of accessibility features in education to not only address our Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, but also universally. We will navigate strategies that we already employ and how they transfer to multiple populations to make education more accessible for all.

Registration is free, and participants will earn PGPs. This session's intended audience includes DHH Teachers, Special Education Teachers, and Classroom Teachers.
