Farasyn Farm's Wildlife Rescue

Farasyn Farm's Wildlife Rescue Our goal is to treat the injured and orphaned wildlife brought into our facility ,eventually releasing them back into their native habitat.

No fee is charged for any wildlife in need of treatment , we operate solely on donations. Being passionate about the environment, animal welfare, and community well-being I have always known what I was meant to do in life. Since the age of twelve, I worked under my mother's State and Federal wildlife rehabilitation license for 23 years in Rhode Island. Eager to learn more, I always immersed myself

with all the wildlife that was brought into our facility for treatment and the environment around me. My childhood laid the groundwork for my passion, dedication, and respect for wildlife. Currently, I am a licensed Oregon State and Federal rehabber. For the past 11 and a half years, I have treated everything from songbirds to waterfowl to small mammals. I adore working with beavers, raccoons, squirrels, porcupines and skunks. When an animal is injured or orphaned and in need of help, I melt. I aspire to help them when they are incapable of helping themselves. I have three daughters that have been raised in a household where treating wildlife was just an everyday occurrence, memories that I will always treasure. Together we all have worked long hours, dealing with the highs and lows. While I may save animal's lives, they are the ones that truly save me. Wildlife rehabilitation is my life and always will be my passion. We operate under permits issued by the Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife and the United States Fish & Wildlife Service

Juvenile marmot that arrived last week, she was found orphaned. Usually at this age they would not be out of the den yet, either mother was taken by a predator or den site was excavated due to all new construction in the area.

Junvenile skunks are very curious and playful at this age, as they become adults they become solitary & very shy.
