We are shifting the annual Tri-County Range and W**d Tour to September. We are hoping the shift will provide us with some more comfortable temperatures in the field! Tentatively we are looking at September 10 as the date for the Tour.

We are shifting the annual Tri-County Range and W**d Tour to September. We are hoping the shift will provide us with some more comfortable temperatures in the field! Tentatively we are looking at September 10 as the date for the Tour.

The Tri-County tour has taken place annually at the intersection of Prairie, Fallon, and Wibaux counties since the 1990’s. We look forward to sharing more great educational topics in a hands-on environment this fall!

We anticipate being able to offer at least 3 private pesticide applicator credits for the tour.

Spring crew training coming up! Points will be available :) and we will be proving lunch - $20 registration fee that will go back to the SE Area to help provide more trainings!

Prairie County Extension will host its annual MSU Extension Winter Series on Thursday, January 22, 2026. There will be presentations on a variety of topics with some taking place at the American Legion and others at the Prairie Community Center. Private Pesticide License Applicator re-certification credits and Commercial and Governmental Pesticide License re-certification credits will be available for the program.
