🚨 Terry Police Department – Most Wanted (Misdemeanor Warrants) 🚨

If you recognize yourself or someone you know, please tag them or encourage them to contact us as soon as possible.

Individuals listed may resolve their warrants by appearing at Terry City Hall or by contacting the Terry Police Department Warrants Division at call or text (601) 249-7941.

Taking care of your warrant voluntarily can help you avoid an unexpected arrest. If you are stopped by any law enforcement agency and your name is run through the system, you may be taken into custody and held until a Terry Police officer arrives to transport you to the Raymond Detention Center for booking. You will then be required to post bond before being released and will still be responsible for paying any outstanding fines owed to the Town of Terry.

Don’t wait until a traffic stop or other encounter with law enforcement disrupts your day. Resolving your warrant now can save you the inconvenience, time, and expense of being arrested, booked into the detention center, and posting bond.

Even if your name is not on this week’s Most Wanted list, that does not necessarily mean you do not have an active warrant. If you have missed a court date or believe you may have outstanding fines with the Town of Terry, you may already have a warrant that simply has not yet been featured. Be proactive and take care of the matter before law enforcement has to take action.

If you are unsure of your status, feel free to contact Terry City Hall to determine whether you have an active warrant and discuss the steps needed to resolve it.

From May 18–31, law enforcement agencies across Mississippi are stepping up seat belt enforcement as part of the statewide Click It or Ticket campaign. The Terry Police Department is actively participating in this event to promote seat belt safety.

Wearing your seat belt is the simplest way to protect yourself and your passengers on the road. Whether you’re driving across town or traveling for the holiday weekend, make sure everyone buckles up, every seat, every trip, every time.

On Monday February 2, 2026 officers Jeffery Dotson and Officer Julius Waddell were arriving back in Terry,Ms from in-service training they attended in McComb,MS. Officer Jana Hudson was on duty at the time.

After being flagged down in reference to juvenile female attempting to jump off the I-55 bridge, officers immediately went to the scene and began speaking with the juvenile.

Swiftly evaluating the situation, Officer Jeffrey Dotson, Officer Julius Waddell and Officer Jana Hudson were able to successfully speak with juvenile, distracting her and saving her life.

Chief Anthony Moore would like to commend these officers for a job well done.

On Tuesday February 3, 2026 Chief Moore recognized these officers at the Town Board Meeting.
