This Heinous crime against this Mother, Grandmother, Auntie, Godmother is the most sickening Act of Violence I’ve seen towards an Elderly person! I think about my mother in a situation like this and it brings tears to my Eyes!
Needless to say, I’m moved with compassion towards these young ppl who were involved and can only empathize with the parents who had to turn their kids in! Lord have mercy!🙏🏽

JEFFERSON TRANSIT ANNOUNCES SERVICE CHANGES FOR THE 2016 HOLIDAY SEASON

JEFFERSON, LA -- Jefferson Transit will be operating additional service on the E1 Veterans bus route, effective Wednesday, December 21 through Saturday, December 24, 2016. Please see the Jefferson Transit website (www.jeffersontransit.org) for the Christmas week E1 Veterans schedule; the schedules are also available onboard East Bank Jefferson Transit buses.

Additionally, Jefferson Transit will be operating a Saturday schedule on Monday, December 26, 2016 in observance of Christmas Day, and on Monday, January 2, 2016 in observance of New Year’s Day. The following routes will be in service:

· W1-Avondale

· W2-Westbank Expy.

· W3-Lapalco

· W10-Huey P. Long

· E1-Veterans

· E2-Airport

· E3-Kenner Local

· E5-Causeway.

NOMTOC MARRERO CHRISTMAS PARADE

JEFFERSON PARISH -- Please join Councilman Mark D. Spears, Jr. and the Jugs Social Club, Inc. for their Annual Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 10:00am to 1:00pm.

The parade will start at Lapalco Boulevard and Westwood Drive, going down Lapalco Boulevard, making a left onto Ames Boulevard, a right onto the Westbank Expressway and ending at the Johnny Jacobs Playground in Marrero.

Come out and enjoy meeting some of your Parish Representatives: Councilman Mark Spears, U.S. Congressman Cedric Richmond, LA State Senator Troy Carter, and LA State Representative Rodney Lyons.

Helen Cox Marching Band, Jeannie Morris School Dance Team, The Original 504 Boyz Horse Group, Truman Middle School Marching Band, The Fancy Fedoras Dance Troupe, L.W.
