ETJMS 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students had a chance again this year to participate in the American Legion Auxiliary Post 20 Poppy Poster Contest in recognition of National Poppy Day May 22, 2026. Students were asked to create a poster focusing on creativity, history, and patriotism. Congratulations to all the student winners:

We are proud to recognize Casey, a dedicated fourth grade teacher at Fisher Elementary School, for the incredible impact she makes each and every day. Casey’s passion for teaching, commitment to her students, and ability to create a caring, engaging classroom environment truly set her apart. She inspires a love of learning while building strong relationships that help students grow both academically and personally.

On Tuesday, May 19th ETJMS welcomed back Grit 'N Wit for the third straight year! Our students overcame the warm weather and worked together in collaborative teams to take on the 17 physical obstacles and puzzles of the Grit 'N Wit obstacle course! The course challenged students to persevere and help each other solve problems and conquer physical challenges. The vibes were positive and everyone had a great time! Thanks to the ETJMS PTA for once again sponsoring this amazing event and a huge shout out to Lauren Malone for all the fabulous photos!🤩
