Exciting New Partnership at CSS! 🇯🇵🤝🇺🇸

We are thrilled to announce that Community Support Systems and our Community Day Services program have entered into a wonderful new working partnership with Junno Design of Japan!

Junno Design has been a trusted supplier of high-quality applicators to John Boos & Co. for over ten years. They recently made the decision to bring manufacturing to the United States, with key components now being produced in Maine and Illinois before being shipped to our Teutopolis facility for final assembly.

This past week, we had the honor of hosting two wonderful representatives, Anton and Park, who traveled all the way from Japan to personally train our staff and the individuals we serve. Their patience, openness, and expert instruction made the training both effective and enjoyable.

We are deeply grateful to Anton and Park for their time and dedication. This partnership is a fantastic opportunity for our team and the individuals we support, and we are confident that Junno Design will be an outstanding long-term partner for CSS.

Our thoughts are with everyone in our community who was impacted by last night's storms and tornadoes.

While our CSS facilities were not affected, we know that many families, friends, and neighbors in our broader community experienced damage, disruption, and unknowns. Our hearts go out to our community, and we are wishing everyone safety, strength, and steady support as recovery begins.

The Flower Patch is at it again! 💐💙

Mary spent a morning with individuals in our Residential Program, sharing her floral expertise. She brought along all the gardening supplies needed and guided everyone as they filled planters with beautiful flowers to brighten up their home.

Everyone enjoyed learning new gardening skills from Mary and experienced the satisfaction of getting their hands dirty and working together to create something beautiful. The smiles, laughter, and sense of accomplishment made for a wonderful morning.

Thank you, Mary, for sharing your time and talents and for making community integration a priority. Your support helps create meaningful experiences and lasting memories for the individuals we serve.

This past weekend, CSS took on the Spirit Of St. Louis Air Show & STEM Expo at the Spirit of St. Louis Airport. Individuals watched exciting aerial performances, including demonstrations by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, and the F-22 Raptor Demo Team. Everyone enjoyed looking up at the skies and remained engaged throughout the day as they watched the planes and the military presence.

This was the first time most of them had attended an air show. Following the event, everyone spoke enthusiastically about the day and agreed they would love to attend again. We call that a memorable community experience!

A few individuals from the ICILA Program spent the day cheering on the Gateway Grizzlies this week! ⚾️☀️ They had awesome seats right behind home plate, giving a great view of all the action. It was definitely a hot one, but they made the most of it with great company and an exciting Grizzlies win!

There's something special about a day at the ballgame, especially when shared with friends. And this was just a preview of the fun to come, because we’re excited to be heading back in July with the entire Intermittent CILA group for another day at the ballpark! 💙

Earlier this spring, the Production Crew rolled up their sleeves and took part in Teutopolis for Tomorrow's No Trash Bash! ♻️

Individuals spent time helping clean up the Teutopolis Banquet Hall grounds, collecting litter to keep our community looking its best. We're proud of their hard work and commitment to giving back while helping make our community a cleaner, more welcoming place for everyone.

After their all their hard work, they stopped in to the Banquet Hall to enjoy a well-earned drink and a chance to relax together.
