🌽✨ We had a corn-tastic time with our friends from Kids' Castle at the Ag Learning Center!

Today, our young farmers discovered that corn isn't just for eating—it can be used in hundreds of everyday products! One of those is cornstarch, which they used to create their very own squishy "NeeDoh"-style sensory dough.

Hands-on activities like this help children see just how versatile agriculture is while learning through play, creativity, and a little bit of messy fun! 💚

Thank you, Kid's Castle, for spending the day with us. We loved learning, creating, and getting our hands a little sticky together! 🌽🤍

📚🌾 New curriculum is rolling into the Ag Learning Center, and we couldn't be more excited!

Our shelves are filling up with brand-new agriculture-themed books and lessons that will help students discover where their food, fiber, and natural resources come from through hands-on learning and engaging stories.

From gardens and soil to farm-to-table, livestock, and so much more, this fall is shaping up to be our best season yet! We can't wait to welcome schools back and inspire the next generation of agricultural leaders.

What a fantastic way to wrap up summer camp! 🌾☀️

Today we welcomed the Texarkana Arkansas Parks and Recreation campers to the Ag Learning Center for their final camp adventure, and it was one to remember!

A huge THANK YOU to Chris Teer with Twin City Royals for sharing his knowledge about one of nature's most misunderstood animals—snakes! 🐍 Instead of being a nuisance, many snakes are actually a farmer's best friend. A single rat snake can help protect crops and stored grain by eating rodents that would otherwise damage fields, equipment, and feed. That's natural pest control at work!

By learning how every animal has a purpose, our campers discovered that agriculture is all about balance—and sometimes the heroes of the farm are the ones people fear the most.

Thank you to Texarkana Arkansas Parks & Recreation for spending your last day of camp with us. We hope you had a memorable summer filled with learning, exploration, and plenty of agricultural fun! 💚🌱

What a S'more-velous afternoon at the Ag Learning Center! 🍫🔥🌾

A huge THANK YOU to all of the families, grandparents, and community members who joined us for our S'mores on the Farm class! We loved spending the afternoon making sweet treats, sharing fun agriculture facts, and creating memories together.
