Today was a day where an entire community joined together to honor and celebrate the life of a brother in blue! Rest easy, Detective Wesley Penny; we've got it from here.
The Miller County Sheriff's Office would like to thank the following Texarkana Arkansas Police Department officers for volunteering to take shift coverage of the county so that our on-duty deputies could attend the service: Lieutenant Freeman, Sergeant Daughtery, Officer Montoya, Lieutenant Caudle, and Officer Keupker.
We also extend our gratitude to Bubba's 33 and Texarkana Emergency Center & Hospital for donating a catered meal for the family following the service!
Again, we are so thankful and grateful to the entire community for surrounding the family and Wesley's blue family during this difficult time.
