Liberty-Eylau Fire Department was dispatched mutual aid to Koppers storage Yard in Domino, Texas, at approximately 2109 hours to assist Cass County ESD Fire Departments with a large cross tie pile fire.

LEFD provided a tender and personnel to support water shuttle operations during the incident. Liberty-Eylau units cleared the scene at approximately 2:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Several agencies responded and worked together throughout the operation, including departments from Cass County Emergency Services District, Caddo Parish, Miller County and Bowie County.

Liberty Eylau fire assisted with drone operations over the weekend to aid the Texas Game Wardens on the apprehension of this individual.

Great work K9 Jake, his handler along with all the other law enforcement that help in this situation.

Liberty Eylau Fire Department, in conjunction with several other departments, are continuing and obtaining its education by obtaining Haz-Mat Awareness Ops certification. Your county firefighters are always refining their skills and maintaining the safety of Bowie County.

On International Firefighters’ Day, we honor the dedication, sacrifice, and courage it takes to serve this profession. From structure fires to medical calls, from training grounds to real-world emergencies—this job demands everything.

We also take a moment to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Their legacy lives on in every call we answer and every life we protect.

Liberty Eylau Fire responded mutual aid to Cass County for a commercial fire at 5:12 AM.

Multiple Cass County FD ESDs, Atlanta FD and Texarkana FD are on scene in Domino at the PUNJ truck stop.
