achieving a good band score is absolutely possible. That’s why I am sharing all the useful IELTS materials, tips, and resources that I know and have found helpful.

𝐋𝐞𝐭’𝐬 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫! ✍️

Practice 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝟭𝟬, 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝟭 (𝗟𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴) today, specifically Questions 1 to 6. These𝗴𝗮𝗽-𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 questions look easy, but they are full of traps! 🧠

Check these 𝟯 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀 before you press play:

✅ 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠: When they spell a name or street (like in Q1), write it exactly as they say it.
✅ 𝐁𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬: They will mention 2 or 3 options, but only one is the correct answer. Listen for the 'final' decision!
✅ 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐋𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭: This test says '𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐃' only. If you write 'the beach' instead of just 'beach', you lose the mark!

An 𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐨𝐦 is a 𝐟𝐢𝐱𝐞𝐝 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 whose meaning cannot be understood literally from the individual words. It often carries a 𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 that reflects natural, everyday language use.

🎯 Why it matters for 𝐈𝐄𝐋𝐓𝐒 :

Using idioms appropriately can boost your 𝗟𝗲𝘅𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 score, especially in 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 and 𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗮𝘀𝗸
