Today, with profound emotions and immense gratitude, I announce my resignation from the New York State Assembly.
This decision comes after heartfelt discussions with my wife as we prepare for the joys and challenges of our expanding family and open a new chapter in our lives.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for the trust you have placed in me. It has been a true privilege and great inspiration to serve, to fight, and to achieve alongside such passionate and devoted colleagues and supporters.
As I transition from public office, I carry with me not just memories of what we have accomplished, but an enduring optimism for what we will continue to achieve together.
