🏃‍♂️💙 RUNNING FOR A CAUSE, STANDING TOGETHER FOR A FIGHT! 🧡💪

Today, members of the Parkchester Police Department proudly participated in the 1st Annual East Tremont 5K Run, raising awareness for ALS and Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

Our officers and personnel not only worked alongside the NYPD 45th Precinct to help ensure a safe and successful event, but also laced up their running shoes to support a cause close to our hearts.

💙 We were especially proud to run in honor of Parkchester CEO Ricky Pizarro, who is courageously battling ALS, and for all those who are unable to run themselves. Every step taken today represented strength, hope, unity, and the determination to keep fighting.

A special thank you to NYPD Community Affairs, the NYPD 45th Precinct, all event organizers, and our generous sponsors for making today’s event possible.

Today was more than just a 5K. It was a reminder that when a community comes together, no one fights alone. 💙🧡

We run for those who can’t. We stand with those who fight. 💪
