🚗 Community parking just got a major upgrade!

Your Q-Team officers teamed up with New York City Department of Sanitation, NYPD Traffic Enforcement, and our rotation tow vendor for a joint operation. Together, we successfully cleared out 34 derelict and unregistered vehicles that were taking up valuable space. This joint effort is all about freeing up parking and keeping our neighborhood clean, safe, and accessible for everyone who lives here. Thank you to all the teams involved for their hard work!

🚨 CAUGHT IN THE ACT: Midnight Patrol Officers Take Down Armed Robbery Suspect!

Our officers never rest when it comes to keeping our community safe.

Just 45 minutes into their midnight shift, Officer Velazquez and Officer Cano spotted three individuals rummaging through a vehicle. As the officers approached, victims courageously shouted out that the suspects had brandished a firearm, assaulted them, and stolen their property. The three suspects immediately took off running into Crotona Park, triggering a foot pursuit. Thanks to the quick reflexes and relentless determination of Officers Velazquez and Cano, the foot chase ended in an arrest.

Following a ShotSpotter activation in the vicinity, your Neighborhood Safety Team quickly responded and arrested a 26-year-old man. Officers recovered a firearm from the suspect, which was later determined to be stolen. Thanks to the swift action of our officers, another weapon is off our streets.

Perpetrators may approach victims under the guise of a gift offering, then swap the victim’s property with a counterfeit or lesser-value item.

🔹 If threatened, walk away and call 911.

Early Monday morning, a dispute inside an after-hours party venue spilled out onto the sidewalk. During the altercation, an individual pulled out a firearm and fired a round. Thanks to the rapid response and decisive action of our officers, the suspect was taken into custody and the firearm was recovered. We remain committed to keeping our community safe. If you see illegal after-hours activity or suspicious behavior in your neighborhood, please report it immediately.
