Set against the backdrop of a vibrant multi-ethnic community in the Northwest Bronx, the Kingsbridge Branch of The New York Public Library has been an integral part of its neighborhood since 1905. Originally located on Kingsbridge Avenue, the branch then shifted to another home at 280 West 231st Street on January 23rd, 1959. We are currently now across the street at 291 West 231st Street since Jun

e 2011. Today the library features two floors with large collections for adults, young adults, and children. There is also an extensive reference collection which includes periodicals, newspapers, and electronic resources.

Good Afternoon, Friends! Kingsbridge Library is a designated location for everyone to come and vote!

The People’s Money (TPM) is a citywide participatory budgeting (PB) process where New Yorkers decide how to spend part of the city’s budget to help their communities thrive. This process happens every year and is open to all New Yorkers, including youth and immigrants.

Voting runs from MAY 6TH, 2026 TO JUNE 21ST, 2026 . All New Yorkers 11 and older may vote in The People’s Money once. Here's how you can participate:
