Creative Aging: Dream Room Diorama Building at Woodlawn Heights Library
This program will be held in person at Woodlawn Heights Library on Fridays from 11 AM to 12:30 PM Starting March 20, 2026 - May 1, 2026

Explore your artistic potential with Creative Aging, a series of art workshops for adults 50 and older.

Do you have a favorite way of decorating a room or just remember playing with a dollhouse? Join the diorama building workshop hosted by Illustrator and Teaching Artist Rachelle Hall. In this workshop, you will use simple craft materials that you can find in your home or local craft store to make detailed tiny rooms. Using library resources you can research interior designs trends from historical time periods. Techniques such as drawing, collage and assemblage are explored to construct a diorama. At the end of this class, you will have created your own miniature room(s) that serves as a decorative item. All materials for this program will be provided.
