It is shocking to me that there are still people defending Fauci and the response to COVID by the federal government and many state governments.
What will it take for these individuals to admit what is blatantly obvious?
We were lied to and many of the actions taken by our governments made the outbreak of COVID worse!
Fauci and many people in our federal and state governments lied to the American public after they knew, beyond a shadow of a doubt, what they were telling us to do was more harmful than beneficial.
Fauci’s journal proves this.
For me, it was obvious that our government’s actions were absurdly misguided from the beginning. However, for those of you who blindly followed our federal and many state governments from 2020 to 2022, even you should now admit that you were misled and lied to.
After reading Fauci’s journal, everyone should be alarmed by the statements he made.
We were told that COVID originated in a wet market (a seafood wholesale market).
We know Fauci knew this was a lie.
We were told that if we got the COVID vaccine, we would NOT get COVID.
We know Fauci knew this was a lie.
We were told that if we got the COVID vaccine, we would not transmit COVID.
We know Fauci knew this was a lie.
We were told that masks would slow the transmission of COVID.
We know there was no “science” behind this - Fauci lied about this.
We were told that social distancing would slow the transmission of COVID.
We know there was no “science” behind this - Fauci lied about this.
We learned early on that COVID posed the greatest risk to the elderly and those with multiple co-morbidities.
Fauci obfuscated on this because he did not want the truth to get out.
We also learned early on that healthy children faced a statistically zero mortality rate from contracting COVID.

The most sensible approach would have been to focus on protecting the most vulnerable members of society—the elderly and those with serious underlying health conditions. We could have taken meaningful steps to protect these individuals without shutting down society.
Low-risk individuals should have been allowed to continue living their lives while taking reasonable precautions.
The truth is, when otherwise healthy people contracted COVID, most experienced symptoms similar to a cold or the flu and later they developed immunity from COVID.
Many of the actions taken by the federal and state governments were irrational and, in some cases, insidious, unethical, and malicious (see Andrew Cuomo’s pernicious actions for alarming examples).
Children were forced to wear masks throughout the day.
Children were confined to their homes for weeks or months and, in some cases, for longer.
People died in hospitals without their families by their side.
Church services were outlawed.
Wedding celebrations were outlawed.
Graduation ceremonies were outlawed.
Families were prevented from gathering together.
People lost their jobs for refusing to get vaccinated.
People also lost their jobs or faced punishment for expressing doubts about vaccines, lockdowns, masks, and other COVID policies.
The Biden administration and many state governments severely infringed on constitutional freedoms. Freedom of speech was restricted, freedom of assembly was restricted (with exceptions made for violent protests during the Summer of Love), freedom of religion was restricted, and press freedoms were undermined.
It was the darkest period in the United States during my lifetime.
Many people died and suffered as a direct result of decisions made by the federal and many state governments.
The vaccines did not prevent infection as promised. The vaccines did not prevent the spread as promised. The lockdowns did not achieve their intended goals. Mask mandates and social distancing did not stop the spread of the virus. Ventilator use harmed many. Closing schools have caused irreparable harm to many children!
If you are still publicly insisting that the vaccines worked as originally promised, that the government’s overall response to COVID was appropriate, and that lives were saved from these actions - I have to question your cognitive ability. I have to conclude that you are unwilling to acknowledge the overwhelming evidence that has emerged since the pandemic ended - particularly the Fauci journal.
Having said this, I somewhat understand those who cannot admit these obvious facts. It’s difficult to admit that you were duped by your government and that the policies you blindly supported resulted in more death and harm than simply protecting the vulnerable and allowing the rest of society to take reasonable precautions until herd immunity contained the virus.
