ThrowbackThursday!!

As we kick off another exciting summer at DFOY, we’re looking back at the unforgettable moments that made last summer so special. From hands-on learning and creative activities to new friendships and lasting memories, our youth spent the summer growing, exploring, and having fun.

Here’s to another summer of learning, leadership, and endless possibilities!

Today, Juneteenth, marks the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates the resilience, strength, and contributions of Black Americans throughout history.
At DFOY, we recognize that empowering young people means fostering spaces where history is acknowledged, voices are valued, and future leaders are inspired to create positive change in their communities.
As we celebrate freedom, we also reflect on the ongoing pursuit of equity, opportunity, and justice for all.
Together, we continue to uplift, educate, and empower the next generation.
