We are doing a second fundraiser to add high-quality and quiet air purifiers to our classrooms. Already this year our 5th grade Environmental Club has built air purifiers for our pre-K through 2nd grade classrooms. Now it's time for us to fundraise for our 3rd through 5th grade classrooms, as well as our lunchroom, vocal, and other classrooms!

These air purifiers will clean our indoor air and help protect our students and teachers against airborne contaminants like dust, smoke, and pollution as well as flu, cold, and virus particles. This will help reduce asthma and illness, keeping everyone healthy, in school and learning.
Our students are also learning STEM skills and becoming community scientists as they build the air filters. This project builds on our 2022-23 project where last year's 5th grade class built three portable air purifiers and built a website to educate the school community about lung health and the importance of clean indoor air.
