With this beautiful weather, it’s hard not to spend time outdoors!😎☀️

Last Wednesday, I joined NYC H2O and P.S. 108 at Orchard Beach for a field trip. We had a great time finding horseshoe crabs right from the shoreline and learning more about our local ecosystem. 🦀

Afterward, I visited Pelham Lab High School to join GrowNYC’s education programming. I met some incredibly talented students and was impressed by the work they’re doing! 🌱

🌊What a great day at Turtle Cove Island! 🧹

Last week, I was so excited to join NYC H2O and the Department of Youth and Community Development’s Mentoring Program for a shoreline cleanup at Rodman’s Neck. With more than 60 volunteers, we were able to remove over 500lbs of trash from the shoreline!

Thank you to everyone that showed up 👏
