MCCAC is now scheduling appointments for our low-income home energy assistance program (LIHEAP). Our utility assistance programs help community members keep their homes warm and safe throughout the winter season. This winter's program opens on Dec. 1.

Call during regular business hours to make an appointment. 541-298-5131 ext. 206 in The Dalles and ext. 310 in Hood River. Or apply online at www.mccac.com. Online applications open Dec. 1.

Would you like to support the Hood River Warming Shelter?

Needed items include warm blankets, twin sheets, sleeping bags, warm gloves, long underwear, snow and rain coats, breakfast and granola bars, and cup of noodles.

Donations can be dropped off each Tuesday 12-2 pm at Hood River Valley Christian Church, 975 Indian Creek Road. We are sorry, we cannot accept donations directly at the shelter site as our storage is very limited.
