Shoreline Scavengers clue!

Mental Health Month came to a close yesterday, but there’s still one rock in Hood River waiting for you!

This rock is a reminder that even small moments of beauty, calm, creativity, and joy are special. As you move through campus for our final weeks of the term, take a moment to notice the little things that brighten your day or help you breathe a little easier.

(We ask that you only claim one rock/prize per student unless rocks have been unfound for a week. Once found, come to Student Services in The Dalles or contact [email protected] to receive your prize!)

MENTAL HEALTH MONTH - SHORELINE SCAVENGER HUNT
Shoreline Scavengers clue!

Like flowers, butterflies, and people, growth doesn't happen all at once. Sometimes the most meaningful growth happens slowly, quietly, and beneath the surface - one small step at a time. Today's hidden treasure carries a simple reminder:"It's okay to grow slow." As you move through your week, remember that you don't have to rush your progress, your healing, or your journey.

Slow. Yourself. Down. Can you find this treasure before someone else does?

(We ask that you only claim one rock/prize per student unless rocks have been unfound for a week. Once found, come to Student Services in The Dalles or contact [email protected] to receive your prize!)

MENTAL HEALTH MONTH - SHORELINE SCAVENGER HUNT

When was the last time you laughed out loud?

Sometimes slowing down is about making room for the things that help us feel more like ourselves. Today's treasure encourages you to "Take time to be silly!" A little laughter, playfulness, or lightheartedness won't distract you from your tasks and goals. In fact, it might help you return to it with a little more energy, perspective, and joy.

Slow down. Smile. Explore and find this treasure to claim your prize!

Before the week ends, take one minute.
Notice where you are.
Notice your breath.
Notice that you made it this far.

Even in a busy season, there are small moments of steadiness.

You can come back to them anytime.

If things feel heavy, that makes sense.
There’s a lot happening all at once.
You don’t have to power through everything at full speed.

Doing what you can, with the energy you have, is enough.

Take breaks. Drink water. Step outside if you can.

Small things count right now.

MENTAL HEALTH MONTH - ROCK SCAVENGER HUNT
Our first rock is out for the Shoreline Scavenger Hunt!

Steady it goes....Slow. Yourself. Down.
Amid the hustle and bustle of classes, exams, and everything else as we near the end of term, it's easy to forget how far you've come and how much you've grown. Take a moment to breathe, reflect, and appreciate your journey. You're worth it, your mental health matters, and so do you.
