Gorge Literacy Volunteers
Just wanted to touch base and provide a few updates during these unprecedented times. CGCC is currently teaching all of their credited classes online this Summer and will continue to do so through the Fall of 2020. Both the Pre-College and ESL department have provided online instruction since this past Spring. We have had several volunteers express interest in doing online tutoring. The majority of these volunteers are currently tutoring via Zoom and from what we hear they are enjoying this experience. In each case we have tried our best to provide some general Zoom training and in some instances leased out a docu-camera to enhance the virtual tutoring experience. If you are interested please reach out to us. 🙂
