🔥 Rowena Fire Update 🔥
The Salvation Army is on the ground in The Dalles, responding to the aggressive Rowena Fire that continues to burn in the Columbia River Gorge. Fueled by record-dry conditions and gusty winds, this fire threatens lives, homes, and vital infrastructure.

Our Family Services & Food Pantry at 811 E. 2nd Street remains open (Mon/Wed/Fri, 1–3 p.m.) to serve the community. As always, we are here before, during, and after disaster strikes—without discrimination.

💬 “The Salvation Army will continue to meet community needs during this time,” says Major Jonathan Harvey. “Our emergency teams are ready to deploy when it’s safe to do so.”

to sign up for Christmas Food & Toys (for children 12 and younger)

Applications will be taken on:
Monday 10/23, Tuesday 10/24, and Thursday 10/26 9:00am to 11:00am and Wednesday 10/25 4:00 pm to 6:00pm.
