Dive into ocean-themed fun at the library on Saturday, May 30th! Create beautiful marine crafts, complete a scavenger hunt, and add to collaborative educational displays at your own pace anytime during the day in the main part of the library.

There will also be special programs happening at certain times. For younger children, there will be a storytime and puppet show in the Children's Room at 10:30.

At 12:15, school-age children, teens, and lifelong learners are invited to watch and participate in an interactive ocean science demonstration in the Meeting Room.

Afterwards, at around 1:00, we'll be watching a beloved movie about the search for a little orange clownfish (there will be a boatload of snacks to enjoy!).

Stick around to win prizes at ocean animal trivia at 2:45.

We hope to see you there!

The Library is bringing back our Chess Club!

Join us every 2nd and 4th Saturday from 12:00–1:30 PM to learn from an expert. Vanessa Bartsma will guide participants through the fundamentals of chess while introducing key strategies and techniques.

This twice-monthly series is designed to build critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills through engaging lessons, practice games, and analysis. Players will develop their abilities and gain confidence with each session.

Open to ages 8–108—chess is a fantastic intergenerational activity!
No registration required- just come!
