The Grasshopper Fire is still active, but amazing progress has been made on containment. The long-term impact of this fire on our communities is still to be seen.

MCCAC's Annual Housing Heroes Fundraiser is coming to Granada Theatre - The Dalles, Oregon this fall!

Tickets will be on sale soon and are $50 each. Tickets include dinner, dessert, and a program featuring several short films.

Last week, MCCAC staff attended Oregon Human Development Corporation's 2026 Farmworker Summit and ran into some familiar faces from Washington Gorge Action Programs!

This event celebrates the resilience, achievements, and journeys of agricultural workers and their communities.

We are so proud to partner with OHDC and stand in support our migrant and farmworker community.

The Gloria Center lobby is open during typical operating hours for community members to rest and take a break from the smoke.

As temperatures head back up this week, we want to remind community members and partners that cooling supplies are available at MCCAC offices for those experiencing houselessness and/or needing resources to stay safe in the heat.

Community members in need of a break from the heat can also visit The Gloria Center any time during typical operating hours. A variety of charging cords are now available for personal device charging while resting in the AC in the lobby.
