Due to the potential for lightning and severe storms during our warm-up and performance time, we are cancelling the band will not be participating in Parade of the Hills this evening. You may come pick your students up at the high school as soon as possible. We appreciate your flexibility with the unpredictable weather.

We are monitoring the weather for Parade of the Hills this evening. Everyone should plan to report to the high school at 4pm and we will inform anyone of any changes based on potential incoming weather.

Thanks to those of you who have volunteered to chaperone and move equipment for this weekend's performances already. For Parade of the Hills, we have enough chaperones, but could use more chaperones and volunteers to move pit percussion equipment. Moving equipment is really simple and mostly just involves rolling something or carrying something not too heavy! The students and staff will let you know what to do! Sign up here:

We are taking the large equipment trailer for the game at Logan, but will not take the large trailer for Parade of the Hills. We could use one additional parent with a truck or large vehicle to help transport large instruments, drums, flags, etc. Email Mr. Backes and Mrs. Kitchen if you can help out with that!

Update to this week’s rehearsal schedule:

Wednesday evening will still be 5-8pm

Thursday’s rehearsal will now be 3-6pm to allow for use of the turf since the band practice field has standing water on it.

Marching Green and Gold rehearsal from 5-8pm is on for tonight. We are aware of several areas in the community with high water. Please use caution and a reminder that a parent needs to communicate if a student is unable to make it to transportation/high water issues.
