Ok here it is. We are going to try something new we want to have a community against the firefighters water battle. We will be going on certain roads an end at the intermediate school where we will park an have a big water fight. Please no throwing water balloons at the windows of the fire trucks. The members of the department told me that they will stay completely dry till they make it to the intermediate school let’s see if you can prove them wrong.

We will start on east 4th street
Then east 3rd street
North Clinton
Ohio avenue
Main Street
Channingway
Then end up at the intermediate school

Well would like to thank everyone that supported us with our first year of fireworks. This wouldn’t be possible without the communities help and support. I would like to thank all the members of the fire department for all the time an help to make this event happen. If you see any of the firefighters out please take the time and thank them. We hope everyone enjoyed the show. Now to next year let’s make it even bigger.

We are going to set a firework off at 9:45 for a 15 minute warning. Then one at 9:55 for a 5 minute warning.

The event is still on for today. Just to let people know after the car show we are going to block off the elementary school an make it chair sitting only in the parking lot. Please park at the park.

It look like the raining is going to clear out in time for the event. We are still having it tomorrow.

We are keeping a close eye on the weather for Saturday. We will make an announcement Friday morning if we are going to continue the event Saturday or move it to another night. If we have to move it to another night what night would the community like to see it on. Keep in mind the day will also be determined by the availability of the inflatables, mr Softee, Kona ice.an Athens county children services.
