Thank You for visiting Detetchin Elementary today and providing some snuggles, love & PET THERAPY ! OPA is a non-profit, all-volunteer rescue working to make Montgomery County a pro-animal-life community. Without a physical shelter, they rely on a grassroots network of heroes to give homeless pets a second chance. 🏠❤️

How they make an impact:
✨ Foster & Adoption: Finding forever homes for local pets.
✨ Flight for Life: Transporting pets to high-demand areas.

Shout-out to our PTO VPs of Programs,Allison Van Houten and Audri Bakanauskas, for planning our field trips and so much more! This 4th-grade field trip was a blast. It was wonderful to see the kids connect their Sam Houston Social Studies lessons to real life through such interactive experiences and incredible artifacts! 🤠📜

It takes a village, and ours is the best! 🫶The Deretchin PTO TAP team, volunteers, and donors absolutely outdid themselves with this Toy Story themed lunch for our teachers. Seeing our teachers feel this loved is what it’s all about. ☁️🦖🎈
