🎡 Festival Traffic Alert (Indio Area)

Festival season is here! Expect heavy traffic during:
• Stagecoach: April 24–26

🚧 Road Closure
Avenue 50 (Monroe → Madison) is closed through May 4.

🚗 Expect delays on:
Jefferson, Washington & Monroe (southbound from I-10), Avenue 48, Hwy 111, and nearby I-10 exits.

⛔ Weekend closures (Fri–Mon):
Avenue 49, Avenue 50 (Madison → Jackson), Hjorth St, and Madison St (49 → 52).

🗺️ Alternate routes:
• North/South: Washington, Jackson, Calhoun, Golf Center Pkwy
• East/West: Hwy 111, Fred Waring, Miles Ave, Ave 54

🚕 Drop-off / rideshare:
• Uber: Ave 49 & Monroe
• Friends/Family: Ave 52 & Madison

⚠️ Mondays will be especially busy with campers leaving. Plan ahead and allow extra travel time!

If you receive a message with a QR code, think twice before scanning. It could lead to fake websites designed to steal your personal or financial information.

🚫 Don’t scan codes from unknown senders
🚫 Don’t click suspicious links
🚫 Don’t trust messages claiming you must act immediately to avoid arrest

✔️ Remember: Government agencies/ local law enforcement will never send you a QR code or call you requesting payment over the phone in exchange for a warrant or avoid arrest
✔️ When in doubt, verify the source

Roadway is now open

🚧 ROAD ALERT: Utility Activity on Washington Street

Please be advised that crews are responding to a gas leak on Washington Street between Avenue 47 and Avenue 48. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is currently on-site assisting with traffic control.

There is no danger to the public, but we ask that you avoid the area to allow first responders and utility partners to work safely.

📍 Location: Washington St (Avenue 47 to Avenue 48) 🚗 Action: Please use alternate routes such as Jefferson Street or Adams Street.
We will provide an update as soon as the roadway is clear.
