Hot Springs State Park Hot Springs State Park Normal park fees apply; visitors are urged to use fee canisters. This is an ever-changing situation.

At this time State Parks are open; however, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, visitor centers, museums, gift shops and offices are closed to the general public until further notice. While we encourage citizens to enjoy the great outdoors while maintaining social distances, please know the Governor has also urged citizens to stay home whenever possible. Please check back to check the status or call ahead before visiting.

Wow! Thanks to everyone who joined us for Kids Outdoor Day today! 😎

We had an amazing day with Wyoming Game and Fish Department offering educational and recreational opportunities throughout the park. Over 200 visitors, ranging from Casper to Lander to Worland, joined us.

A big thank you to our partners as well — Friends of Hot Springs State Park and Legend Rock, Astronomical Society of Bighorn Basin, Hot Springs County Recreation District, South Pass City State Historic Site, Sinks Canyon State Park, Boysen State Park, Medicine Lodge State Archaeological Site, the Thermopolis Discovery Center, and our community member volunteers.

Kids Outdoor Day is this Saturday, August 29th! ☀️

Join us and the Wyoming Game and Fish Department for over 20 educational and recreational activities throughout the park. Activities will be geared towards families with children aged 6+. Join in on all the fun between 9:30AM and 3:30PM.

We're thankful to be making so many recent improvements around the park, and more are coming to our outdoor pool! 🌊

The outdoor pool at the State Bath House will be temporarily closed, beginning August 24th, for approximately one month.

We will be completing an exciting project, including the installation of a new ADA pool lift and heated concrete sidewalk.

These improvements will help make the pool more accessible, safer, and enjoyable for our visitors for years to come.

We will provide an update when the project is complete and the pool is reopened! Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Don’t miss out on Kids Outdoor Day happening on Saturday, August 29th! ☀️

We’re teaming up with Wyoming Game and Fish Department to bring the popular Kids Outdoor Day to Hot Springs State Park. Join us from 9:30AM-3:30PM for over 20 different educational and recreational activities throughout the park!
