As the weekend wraps up, we’re once again feeling so thankful for our amazing Thermopolis community! 🇺🇸

A huge thank you goes out to all of the firefighters and volunteers who helped us put out the fire that started in the bison pasture on Wednesday. We are thankful for all of the help that kept the impacts to a minimum.

Another thank you to everyone who organized and facilitated a great Trailblazer Days weekend — we were happy to have so many people visit Hot Springs and Legend Rock!

An ongoing thank you goes to Friends of Hot Springs State Park and Legend Rock for their continuous support. Want to get involved? Join us at our next Friends Group meeting this Tuesday (6/16) at 6PM at Park HQ! We hope to see you there.

It’s sss-snake sss-season! 🐍

This bullsnake was spotted on the T-Hill Trail. Always remember to look where you’re stepping or riding, and give them enough time and space to move along.

Come learn more about snakes this Thursday evening at our Snake Program. We’ll be meeting at the Smoking Waters Shelter at 6:30 with one of our live ambassador animals!

We have two exciting programs coming up this week!

🌼 Wildflower Walk on Thursday, May 28th at 6:00PM, meeting at the T-Hill Trailhead. Expect a hike of about 3 miles to view spring blooms.

🌟 Night Sky Stargazing Program on Friday, May 29th from 8-11PM, meeting in the bison pasture (wyoparks.info/nightskylocation). Kids hour from 8-9PM and observing the night sky through telescopes from 9-11PM.

Starting Friday, May 15th, the State Bath House will be transitioning to its summer operating hours. See below for our hours, and we hope to see you there to summer!
