Peep Our Progress 🛠️

The home side stadium repairs at Thibodaux High School are wrapping up. Repairs on the visitor side will be completed following the 26-27 football season.

All three of our high school stadiums are undergoing vital structural concrete repairs and waterproofing upgrades to preserve and protect the facility. These improvements will help prevent future deterioration, enhance safety, and extend the service life of the stadium for students, athletes, and the community.

Thank you for your patience and support as we work to provide a safer, stronger environment for our students, community and visitors.

Peep Our Progress 🛠️

In spite of the rain and mud, construction of the new Bayou Boeuf Elementary classroom addition is shaping up, with the building structure and roof now largely complete. Crews are now focusing on interior framing and infrastructure systems, bringing the project one step closer to creating a modern learning environment designed to help our students and staff thrive.

We can't wait to see this beautiful new campus come to life! Stay tuned for more construction updates as we continue building a brighter future for the Lafourche community.

Greauxing Our Own!

We are incredibly proud of our Lafourche Parish School District educators who are spending their summer diving into coursework to become certified teachers. These 16 dedicated professionals are the newest cohort of the Greaux Lafourche alternative certification program, a free, year-long initiative entirely led by our own district administrators and instructional leaders.

By combining rigorous summer coursework with job-embedded, layered support throughout the upcoming school year, these educators are gaining the vital knowledge and skills needed to inspire and teach the children of our community. Upon successful completion of all program requirements at the end of the school year, participants will be eligible to apply for their Louisiana Level 1 teaching certification in their chosen area of study.

Please join us in celebrating their hard work, dedication, and commitment to lifelong learning. We can't wait to see the incredible impact they will make in our classrooms this fall.
