NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Plan Commission of the Village of Third Lake, Lake County, Illinois, shall conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 7:00 pm, at the Third Lake Village Hall, located at 87 North Lake Avenue, Third Lake, Illinois, to consider:
An application for a text amendment to Section 32-206, entitled “Specialized Vehicle Parking in Residential Districts,” of Chapter 32, entitled “Zoning,” of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Third Lake by adding to Paragraph a) 2) as follows c: “One specialized vehicle is permitted at a setback distance equal to that of any enclosed permanent structure contained partially or wholly within the required street yard.”
All persons desiring to be heard in support of or opposition to the matter to be considered shall be afforded an opportunity, and may submit their statements verbally or in writing, or both. Written comments shall be provided no later than 5:00 p.m. on September 15, 2026, to Butch Buckley, 87 N Lake Ave., Third Lake, IL 60030, [email protected]. The hearing may be recessed and continued to another date as may be necessary if not concluded on the scheduled date, without further notice.
