Staff Spotlight: Mrs. Felicia McCray

Mrs. McCray is the true Pathways "O.G." She has been a rock for this program for the past 24 years. Whether she is helping kids with academics, handling behaviors, assisting anywhere she is needed, playing silly games, making cotton candy for Fun Friday, or loudly singing Happy Birthday to someone in the cafeteria, Mrs. McCray brings an infectious energy to whatever she does. Pathways would not be where it is today without her, and we are so thankful to have her.

Staff Spotlight-Ms. Taylor Smith

Ms. Smith is our lead teacher. Not only does she teach our Middle and High School ELA and Social Studies, but once a week she does Therapeutic Drumming with all of our students. During these sessions not only are they learning African drumming techniques but other skills such as following directions, identifying their feelings, goal setting, and checking in and out on these things during this time. We closed our first week strong with our first Student of the Week Celebration and our PBIS reward kickoff. Thank you to our awesome kids for a great first week; they were able to R.IS.E Up by showing Respect for Individuals, Self, and the Environment. Thank you to our amazing staff for putting this together!
