Every child deserves a safe place to learn, grow, and feel supported. Thomasville Community Resource Center has worked toward that goal for families in Thomas and Grady counties since 1998, and there is more than one way to be part of it.

A financial contribution helps sustain the programs children and caregivers depend on. Volunteers can lend a hand with academic tutoring, mentorship, events, and more. A local business reposting one of our program posts can help another household find us, and pointing a family our way is one of the simplest ways to help.

Later this fall, we'll announce more about our end-of-year campaign, and we'd love for you to join us!

Comparing after-school options for your child? It helps to look past the schedule and think about how your child will actually spend those afternoon hours.

Say you're a caregiver looking for a program where your child can get help with assignments and also enjoy time with friends in a positive setting. In that case, ask how homework time is structured, what enrichment activities are offered, and how staff stays in touch with families.

At Thomasville Community Resource Center, our after-school programs serve students from Pre-K through middle school, both at our Varnedoe Street location and at partner schools. Children can take part in homework help, reading practice, hands-on learning, physical activity, and social-emotional learning, all with caring adults nearby.

At Thomasville Community Resource Center, our PreK-K3 program helps young learners build the academic, social, and emotional skills they'll carry with them for years to come.
