This page is designed and created to promote Mark Sheets in his campaign to win a seat on the Montana Senate available for District 7. Politically, Mark is currently the mayor of Thompson Falls and prior had served 11 years on the Thompson Falls City Council. As a concerned citizen, he served 4 years on the Sanders County Resource Advisory Committee, 4 years on the Citizens Advisory Committee for

the Fish, Wildlife, and Parks, 10 years on Plains/Thompson Falls Ranger District collaborative group. His interests are hunting, fishing, camping, backpacking, kayaking, skiing, snowshoeing. His goals in politics are to serve Montanans, keep our public lands in public hands, improve infrastructure so that business and job opportunities are increased in Sanders, Mineral, Missoula, and Flathead counties.

I went to the movie the Republican Central Committee had at the Rex on Friday. Handed out my brochures to any that would take one. Joseph Goebbels would have been proud of the propaganda spouted in the movie.

Sorry about not posting lately but have been really busy having gone to Senior Centers, serving at the COA picnic in Hot Springs and starting to knock on doors. Looking forward to meeting everyone in Noxon tomorrow night! I went to the American Lands Council presentation at the Condon Community Council Meeting last tuesday( had to blow water lines out at Seeley for the winter and saw ad in local paper ). How Fielder can spout that stuff and defend it, with a straight face, is beyond me.

As a life long Hunter and Angler, I will advocate for access to our public lands. Keeping "OUR" public lands in public hands is very important. I do not support the transfer of federal lands or the management of them to the State!!!
