Tusc-Vu Farm

Tusc-Vu Farm A dairy farm in Juniata County on 110 acres, in the shadows of the Tuscaroara Mountain. BAA of 106.4 and RHA of 20,000 on 50 Holsteins and Jerseys

Tusc-Vu Farm is owned and operated by Kyle, Jennifer, and Karlie Supplee. We currently care for around 70 milking age cattle and their offspring, and milk around 50-60 at all times. We also are Independent Sales Representatives for Dupont Pioneer covering Juniata County and parts of Snyder and Perry Counties. We grow all our own forages and much of our grain on 120, double cropped acres, in the Ju

niata River valley, at the base of the Tuscarora Mountain . Those cattle consist of our own Tusc-Vu Holsteins along with a few Holsteins for Jenn's parents of J-J-K-Shultz and a few Ayrshire s for Layne Shaeffer of La-Shay Ayrshire. As of April 2014, we are now also home to Hardscrabble Jersey's and Richard Beatty, our Herdsman. Since we got married, Jenn and I have taken an approach similar to collecting baseball cards. In 2010, we purchased a Talent 2yr old out of Gloryland Liberty-Rae's cow family and a March destry calf, that goes back Miklin Mascot Gidget, starting our collection of baseball cards (high type cow families, proven to breed true) we wanted to target to eventually have animals out of. This was just the beginning, over the next couple of years, as we had extra money from culling out cattle, we would occasionally re-invest that money in an animal on our "list" of cow families. Then in late 2012, early 2013, we expanded, and with the help of David Lentz with PHA and others, we were blessed to be able to add SEVERAL new "baseball cards"......this effort was helped by people like the Hoffman's of My-Style, and Don Adams and Ronnie Mummah, who were willing to offer cattle to us, at times below what they could have received elsewhere, and really helped us put our dream herd together. We continue to add occasionally and hope to soon have Tusc-Vu be a well known prefix, as in the future we plan to share some of our collection with others through private sales, or consignments.....make sure to check out our products offered to see what cow families we are working with......

Breeder bulls out of select cow families may be available from time to time, as well as cattle, young to old, available for consignment, private sale, or rights to flush.

-Several descendents of Walk-up Astronaut Lou-Ann, from several branches. Including a December '12 Aaron, out of Lake-Vue Talent Shakira, and a Jr. 2 Mich x Hillmont Durham Lyndi (full sister to the bulls Luthor, and Logan) (due back to Glauco in June)
-currently working with a 2yr old Maxwell Red x Mt. Glen Broker Lucy's full sister

-descendents of Hill-a-way Emerson Baccardi (Emory Babe), including an awesome VG85 4yr old Sanchez from My-Style, that could also jump to EX next score

- and several homebred cow families, including descendents of Supplee Lynch Billie VG85, a 9 yr old Lynch still milking at Tusc-Vu, that Kyle's grandfather, Oscar bred. Most descendents are of solid conformity, and typically have high to very high fat test. We have polled descendents already, with more on the way and may have a Variant Red calf by Detonator right out of the Lynch this summer
