🚨 WEATHER ALERT & SAFETY REMINDER 🚨
As we head into the next couple of hours, our area is expected to see changing weather conditions, including the potential for strong storms, heavy rain, gusty winds, and rapidly dropping temperatures.
⚠️ Now is the time to be weather aware and prepared.
Here are a few safety reminders from all of us at TFPD:
✅ Stay tuned to local weather updates and alerts
✅ Have multiple ways to receive warnings (phone alerts, weather apps, NOAA radio)
✅ Secure outdoor items that could become airborne in strong winds
✅ Avoid driving through flooded roadways — Turn Around, Don’t Drown
✅ Charge your devices in case of power outages
✅ Review your family emergency plan and know where to take shelter
🚒 Our crews are ready, but we ask everyone to do their part to stay safe and prepared.
If you experience an emergency, please call 911.
Stay safe, stay alert, and look out for one another. ❤️
