To the moms who answer the call before anyone else even knows there’s an emergency — Happy Mother’s Day.
To the volunteer EMTs and EMRs balancing late-night calls, long shifts, family dinners interrupted by pagers, and still showing up with compassion and strength: thank you.
You spend your days taking care of your families and your communities, often without recognition, without rest, and without hesitation. Whether you’re responding to accidents, comforting patients, or standing by in the middle of the night, your dedication makes a difference.
Today we celebrate the mothers who serve others selflessly both at home and in uniform. Your courage, sacrifice, and heart do not go unnoticed.

Today, on International Firefighters’ Day, we want to take a moment to recognize the backbone of our department—our volunteers.

These men and women drop everything when the call comes in. They leave their families, their jobs, and their comfort behind to answer someone else’s worst day. They don’t do it for recognition or praise—they do it because they care about this community and the people in it.

Being a volunteer firefighter means long nights, missed holidays, and showing up when others can’t. It means courage, sacrifice, and an unwavering commitment to serve.

To our volunteers: thank you for your dedication, your selflessness, and your heart. Our community is stronger and safer because of you.

We see you. We appreciate you. And today, we honor you. ❤️🚒
