As a Lead Teacher at the McDuffie Achievement Center, Angie pours her heart into shaping the next generation—but her impact doesn’t stop in the classroom. She’s a dedicated leader, volunteer, and connector who shows up time and time again to make McDuffie County a better place to live, work, and grow.
Angie was recently honored with the prestigious Darrell M. Johnson Award at the Thomson-McDuffie Chamber of Commerce banquet—an award recognizing individuals who go above and beyond through civic, faith-based, and local involvement to improve the quality of life in our community.
From serving as a Chamber Ambassador to supporting programs like Youth Leadership McDuffie, Georgia Farm Bureau, and Archway, Angie’s reach is wide—and her impact is deep. Whether she’s mentoring students, promoting agriculture, or volunteering at local fundraisers (like a recent event supporting Something for Alex), she leads with compassion, service, and heart.
Her dedication hasn’t gone unnoticed—Angie was also named Volunteer of the Year by the Georgia Farm Bureau, a testament to her commitment to strengthening our community from the ground up.
