Welcome to northwest Illinois where the snow we got all melted on the day the trails could legally open and now we are under a blizzard warning on the day the trails have to legally close! 🤪❄️

We will have our annual drawing at Majestic Pines, Sunday of Labor Day weekend. More details to come on that.

When you’re out riding this weekend make sure to stop and support the businesses that support us located right on our trail!! The following businesses sign up to be members of our club year after year and we couldn’t be more thankful!

Sandburr Run - Sandburr is also a hotel and has parking available for anyone that wants to trailer down to ride the trails!

Today we rode our trails to get a better look at trail conditions. We have decided to open them - we want people to get some riding in before the warm weather comes next week. Obviously the trails aren’t going to be in perfect condition so please ride with caution. Stay to the right of the signs and ride in between double signs. As always, respect the landowners properties.

Trails are open from Thomson to Mt Carroll and Thomson to Fulton. They are closed to Milledgeville.

Unfortunately due to the rain and warmer temp that came in last night we can’t open our trails today.

Thomson trails are CLOSED

State law requires that the purchaser of a snowmobile shall within 15 days after purchase, make application to the Department for Registration/Titling.

Huge thank you to Gary Prins, Adam Prins, Andrew Prins, Marv Green, Dustin Hook, Drew Nederhoff, and W***y Ritchie for braving the cold and snow to get our trail put in.

As a reminder, the trails cannot open until December 10. This is to ensure safety for second firearm deer season.

We will post if the trails will be open next week!
