The Watson- Brown Foundation Junior Board - Thomson Chapter is currently accepting applications for new members. The Junior Board is comprised of 12 to 15 local high school students who are charged with overseeing a historic preservation grant program available to CSRA non-profit organizations. The students learn about philanthropy, historic preservation best practices, and the grant making process before they are entrusted with $33,000 to award to local organizations each academic year.

Calling all young tinkerers! Hickory Hill is hosting a summer camp dedicated to design challenges, tinkering, creating, and learning about the technologies that built the modern age. We will discover what makes a steam locomotive move, how old landline telephones and record players work, design our own automatons, and much more!
