The Treadway Volunteer Fire Department would like to honor you TEACHERS AND NURSES (please help us spread the word!!) with a $5 discount on dinner as well as embrace the community on FRIDAY, MAY 8, 2026. These honorees are not appreciated nearly enough!!
Along with the best fish, we also offer a chicken alternative!! From 5PM till we sell out, or 7PM, whichever comes first, you can get 2 pieces of fish or chicken, baked potato, hush puppies, green beans, cole slaw, dessert, and a drink for only $15. Come out and try the best fish supper in Tennessee! **Because we fix all hot food on demand, we ask your patience during wait times. Most will tell you it is well worth the wait!**
You may not realize how much your support means for maintaining our fire department. You are appreciated beyond measure. We cannot thank you enough for your support. YOU keep us up and going!

We are located at the intersection of Hwy 31 and 131 in Hancock County at the base of Clinch Mountain. The fish supper is our main source of income for the department, and we greatly appreciate everyone's support more than ever as we have moved to be a primarily independent volunteer fire department.

The Treadway Volunteer Fire Department hosted an Electric Vehicle/Alternative Fuel Vehicle Incident Management: Safety and Response Techniques class on Saturday. The class was put on by the National Volunteer Fire Council. The class covered awareness and fundamentals on response to EV and Hybrid vehicles. Tactics for fighting these type of vehicle fires and ways to secure the power on these vehicles if involved in a crash. Sixteen members from Hancock and Hawkins County, as well as, three members from departments outside of our area attended the class. This was excellent training and shows the commitment of our volunteer firefighters to be prepared for any type of emergency that may arise and be able to serve the citizens in the most proficient and professional manner possible.
