The first Tuesday in August is National Night Out, an event to heighten the awareness of crime, drug and violence prevention efforts, and to encourage community participation. All community members are welcome! When: Tuesday, August 4th, 2015
From 6:00PM to 8:30PM
Where: Caln Park
Municipal Drive, Thorndale
Featured Festivities Include:
-5K Charity Run and Fun

Walk @ 7:00PM, Youth Run @ 6:45PM
-Guest Speakers & Presenters
-Police, K9 & Fire Department Demonstrations
-Community Safety Information
-Prescription Drug Drop-off Station
-Live Band
-Food and Refreshments
-Games, Gifts and Entertainment for Children

This year will mark the 32nd anniversary of National Night Out. Caln Township hosted its first event in 2014, and because of the tremendous success, was awarded “Rookie of the Year” honors by the National Association of Town Watch.

Please join us for Caln Police National Night Out 2016:

The Caln Township Police Department will be hosting a community event on Tuesday, August 2nd, 2016 from 6:00pm to dark at Caln Municipal Park on Municipal Drive in Thorndale for an evening of crime prevention and public safety awareness, as well as attractions for the entire family.
The event is made possible by our many generous sponsors and will feature guest speakers and a 5k charity run & fun walk organized by the Chester County Running Store with proceeds benefiting the Coatesville Youth Initiative. In addition there will be police, K9, and fire department demonstrations, community safety information, a prescription drug drop-off station, live band, food and refreshments, games, gifts and entertainment for the kids, concluding with a spectacular fireworks show! Please spread the word to friends and family to join us in our celebration, and support the community in our efforts to promote crime and drug prevention awareness.
