đźš’ Training Today. Prepared for Tomorrow.
Today, C Platoon continued working through their Vehicle Rescue Job Performance Requirements, focusing on the use of struts and a come-along during an overturned vehicle stabilization exercise.
At the beginning of 2026, career staff and Thorndale Fire Company leadership committed to having all career and volunteer members complete essential task evaluations based on the services we provide to our community.
These Job Performance Requirements allow us to evaluate each member’s knowledge, skills, and ability to safely perform critical emergency service functions—including fire suppression, rescue operations, and the proper use of personal protective equipment.
This ongoing evaluation process also helps us identify training needs and areas for continued development throughout the year. By consistently training, evaluating, and refining our skills, we help ensure our members are ready to respond safely, efficiently, and effectively when our community needs us most.
đź’Ş Strong work by C Platoon as they continue building and maintaining the critical rescue skills that make a difference on the fireground and at emergency scenes.
