Have you gotten a chance to stop by the book fair yet? It runs today during conferences until 6:00 p.m., and the last day is tomorrow, October 23rd, it will be open from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.

PLEASE (is all caps, desperate? Well, we really want to see YOU!) Join us for our next PTA meeting on Wednesday, October 28th, after pickup in the Science Room. Principal Salazar will be there to review our school's recent data results, spoiler alert: our school was ranked #1 in the district again!! We will also provide an events update, including our upcoming Trunk or Treat, financial votes, one of them being for new soccer goals for the field, and more!

Also, PLEASE bring your kiddos! PTA Dad, Kevin Kwasnowski, has volunteered to be our Chair of Care during meetings. He will have games to play, like giant Connect Four and Guess Who, out on our preschool playground. Last month he was all set up, but no kids came! (Check out the sad photo of the one kiddo who was there with no one else to play with...)

We need more trunks for our annual Brantner Trunk-or-Treat! We only have about half the number needed. Please sign up, all the candy will be provided for you! Link in the comments.

Our Trunk or Treat is next Friday, October 30th, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. in the school parking lot.

We also need help with setup and teardown for the event, along with helpers to weigh candy ahead of all the fun. Volunteer link in the comments too!

At the Trunk or Treat on October 30th, there will be another special treat: all students will sing with their grade level at the event! They have been working hard in music to prepare, so please have your child at the school early to line up with their class.

Students may sing in their costumes, but if they are wearing a mask, it will need to be removed during the performance. The Trunk or Treat line opens at 5:30, so younger grades should plan to go through the parking lot to collect their candy after they sing. We can't wait for the performances!

The school is hosting a Scholastic Book Fair next week during conferences, BUT volunteers are needed to help make it a success! Help is needed starting TOMORROW, Friday, October 16th to help set up the fair!

Then next week, help is needed on Monday, October 19th, throughout the day to help run the cash registers during conferences, and also in the afternoons, Tuesday, October 20th, through Friday, October 23rd. Our PTA secretary put the volunteer link to sign up in the comments; click that or send us a message if you're able to help!

Send items with your kiddo to school, drop them at the front desk or hand them to a PTA member during drop-off or pick-up. Please label everything as “PTA Conferences” and drop off by Friday, October 16th.

The annual Brantner Trunk-or-Treat is coming up on Friday, October 30th, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. in the school parking lot! Want to decorate your trunk? Tap the link in our comments to sign up!

We also need help with setup and teardown for the event, along with helpers to weigh candy ahead of all the fun. We’ve also put a link in our comments.

Reminder to continue to bring in candy to donate until October 28th. The class who collects the most gets a donut party provided by the PTA!
