We don’t expect Public Works to fundraise for essential infrastructure.
So why do we expect it from our fire departments?

Volunteer firefighters are protecting our communities with aging equipment and bake sale budgets. That gap shouldn’t exist.

It’s time we start treating emergency response like the essential service it is.

🚨 Wildfire risk is rising—don’t let one spark turn into a disaster.

With warmer weather upon us, staying vigilant is critical. Avoid outdoor burning on windy days, use equipment cautiously, and eliminate anything that could create sparks. Small actions now can prevent devastating wildfires.

🔥 Stay wildfire aware. If you see smoke or fire, contact local authorities immediately. Quick reporting saves lives, protects property, and helps stop fires before they spread.

Do your part to prevent sparks and don't let a wildfire start.
